It has been 1 year since the February 2018 edition and as such we are presenting a new volume of the Mongolian Journal of Chemistry. The latest volume (19) contains 8 papers from various field of chemistry such as oil shale, litium leaching, products of pine wood pyrolysis, antibacterial activity of Mongolian natural plant and so on. There are authors from different countries such as Mongolia, China, Turkey, Germany, Iran and Australia.
Our reviewers, and editorial board members and editors have worked hard to ensure the quality of the submitted manuscripts is very high. I am sure that the published papers will have a significant impact in the chemical sciences. The acceptance rate of our journal is about 40% at present.
The latest news to share with all of you is our journal is listed in Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) database of the American Chemical Society. In 2018, we have applied also for inclusion into the Scopus database of Elsevier which we are confident of achieving.
To improve our journal’s quality and to make it visible within the scientific community, we need help from our readers, editors and board members. We want you to feel the Mongolian Journal of Chemistry as your journal. Please submit your valuable research to your journal.
Our journal also listed in the Publons and reviewers will be credited for their hard work, too.
Mongolian Journal of Chemistry also received the star from the Journal Publishing Practices and Standards (JPPS) framework. It has become the only journal that received a star rating amongst the journals listed within the Mongolia Journals online platform. Last year the Mongolian Journal of Chemistry was downloaded over 14,000 times and cited over 90 times on Google Scholar.
